Existing comment: A view from Little Round Top, including the statue of Gouverneur Warren who managed to order Union forces to reinforce the unprotected heights at Little Round Top. (They had been manned until Daniel Sickles stupidly moved his men forward.) After Gettysburg (when he was chief engineer of the Army of the Potomac), he was given command of the V Corps. He was frequently criticized for being too cautious and was relieved of command after his success at the battle of Five Forks.
