Sheads and Buehler Warehouse:
This stove, coal and lumber business was located directly across the tracks from the railroad passenger station. It was one of seven new commercial structures built along the track line in Gettysburg, fulfilling the expectation of the Gettysburg Railroad Company founders.
The McCurdy and Diehl Produce Warehouse:
Located adjacent to the north side of the Sheads and Buehler building. Co-owner Robert McCurdy, the president of the Gettysburg Railroad Company, personally profited from the commercial opportunities the railroad made possible. |
