In the examples here, different permutations of 5-letter combinations of a-types and b-types (black vs. white, large vs. small, dashes vs. slashes, and multiple fonts) are used to make the words "BILATERAL CIPHER" express the word "THE". The example was designed by Friedman, whose signature appears on the lower right corner. |
