A 1.2 mile formal walkway that connects the Visitor Center and the Memorial Plaza.
Memorial Groves:
The 40 Memorial Groves, one for each of the passengers and crew, sweep from the Visitor Center to the Wetlands Bridge.
Wetlands Bridge:
The bridge carries the Allee across the wetlands and provides opportunities to view wildlife.
Visitor Shelter:
Located at the eastern edge of the Memorial Plaza, this small glass and concrete building provides shelter from the weather.
Debris Field and Crash Site:
This 40-acre area beyond the black wall and walkway is the final resting place of the passengers and crew. |
