Flight 93 Hijacked:
Armed with knives, the terrorists break into the cockpit, attack the pilots and gain control of the aircraft. They kill or injure several passengers and crew members. A routine flight becomes a mid-air struggle for life or death.
The terrorists claim to have a bomb and force the remaining people to the back of the plane. Flight 93, now piloted by a terrorist, changes course and heads southeast toward Washington, DC.
Over the next 35 minutes, the passengers and crew manage to place calls to their loved ones and authorities. After learning that their aircraft is part of a larger attack on the country, they quickly share information and decide to act. |
