Longstanding Bilateral Relations
Argentina and the United States established diplomatic relations in 1822. This 190-years-old relationship is the longest that the United States has had with any Latin American country.
The bilateral relation is based on mutual respect and shared values like the promotion of peace and democracy and the respect for human rights and international law.
