Our Dining Room
In this room our Ambassador invites members of Congress, executive officers, and businessmen to discuss and to work on issues of common interest. We also hold our weekly diplomats' meetings here, to brief and receive instructions from our Ambassador.
The room is named after Eva Peron (7 May 1919 - 26 July 1952), the second wife of Argentine President Juan Peron (1895 - 1974) and the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952.
Eva Peron fought on behalf of labor rights, and was known for her campaign for female suffrage. |
