The GI Film Festival:
Each year, the Embassy participates in the GI Film Festival, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to sharing the military experience in and out of the arena of war. For the past several years the Embassy has hosted the International Warrior Night, which features short films from international filmmakers about the world-wide struggle for freedom. As the Embassy has its own theatre, with seating for 171 guests, it is the only embassy in Washington to participate as host to one of the festival's events. |
