These outside dining things have become very fancy but at some point, they need to go. DC has already been removing driving lanes and parking in favor of bike lanes and then they added to it by putting some of the outside dining areas on reclaimed driving lanes. Wheelchair users are finding it hard to get around them, especially with all of the rental scooters littered all over the place. So bikers and scooter riders are doing well but walkers and car drivers are having a sucky time. |
