Charles Forbes. Died October 11, 1895, aged 60. Charles Forbes served as personal attendant to President Lincoln 1861-1865. He accompanied the Lincolns to Fords Theatre on the night of April 14, 1865 and was seated just outside the box when the President was shot. |
