Clement Garnett Morgan was born a slave in Stafford County and went on to graduate from Harvard Law School. He was a founding member of the Niagara Movement.
Julia Sprow Ross Frazier. A child freed in Spotsylvania, she became known as "Miss Julia," a fixture at Fredericksburg's Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site). |
