Georgetown Car Barn
Built in 1895, this ornate landmark on M Street at Key Bridge was designed to serve as a "Union Station" and maintenance depot for four streetcar lines. It was also the power source for a network of cable cars that ran in DC until 1899. It is now part of Georgetown University. |
