Mayor Bowser Appoints Saint Elizabeths Hospital CEO

(Washington, DC) – Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the appointment of Dr. James Kyle as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Dr Kyle will begin service on Wednesday, March 2.
"Dr. Kyle is a nationally board certified health care executive with over thirty years of experience in the medical field," said Mayor Bowser. "I am confident that Dr. Kyle's passion and leadership will be beneficial to the Department of Behavioral Health team."
Dr. Kyle started his career as a registered nurse. His experience spans the health care field both in and outside government, having served as a hospital executive director, director of nursing and patient care services, and clinic director of outpatient services for veterans. He also has served as a college professor and chief diversity officer. Before joining the health care profession, Dr. Kyle served in the United States Army as an active duty and reserve soldier. |
