Morris Farm. In front of us, a line of Union cannon were amassed on March 19, 1865, the first day of fighting. They played a significant role in blunting the Confederate attack. The Confederates attacked four times, being chewed apart by Union rifles in the wood and twelve Union cannon here and another 13 in supporting places. |
