He was a wonderful cartoonist who drew bizarre cartoons usually with a horror theme, passed on November 21, 2019. His cartoons appeared regularly in Playboy and other publications.
I first met him at the New York Comic-Con back in 1995. I had a sketchbook. He asked me what I did for a living and I said I was a computer programmer for the government. He took my book and started sketching... (The computer screen reads "We have decided that you are redundant" as the chair morphs into a monster to kill him.)
