Collaborating with landscape architect Dan Kiley, this urban renewal project redeveloped a 552-acre area of land near the Southwest Expressway in need of improvements. The design included townhouses and 12-story apartment buildings with pathways, pergolas, a pavilion, and a pool in a park-like setting. Capital Park is listed on the DC Inventory of Historic Sites. |
