Existing comment: Captured by photographer Theodor Horyzdczak in the earth 20th century, two gentlemen identified as Mr. Lynn and Mr. Rouser survey a plaster model of the U.S. Capitol.
The model, reported by the United States House of Representatives, was crafted to illustrate the building with an extension on the East Front, originally proposed by architect Thomas U. Walter, which was left unfulfilled for decades. Today, this model resides in the basement of the Cannon House Office building near the Capitol.
