From 1900 to 1930, York was the home of 17 automobile manufacturers, the most famous being the Pullman Automobile Company. Pictured here, York Chamber of Commerce members traveled in a Pullman car in 1914 to communities throughout the Northeast advertising to business leaders the benefits of establishing their companies in York.
This mural commemorates the 100th anniversary of the York Area Chamber of Commerce.
