The president's inaugural viewing platform for the inaugural parade is being constructed on the left (White House) side of Pennsylvania Avenue. Given COVID-19, Biden's team decided the inaugural parade would be mostly virtual and the stand started to be disassembled a few days later.
There's also another viewing stand that you can partially see through the trees above the "X". This stand would still be there when I photographed the park a month later. |
