It was primary day in Maryland on Tuesday. The vote was originally scheduled for April 28 but Covid-19 caused it to be shifted. Unlike in Wisconsin, where the GOP demanded that in-person voting be held anyway because they hoped to elect one of their partisan judges, Maryland cared about the health of their citizens and sent everyone an absentee ballot with postage-paid return envelopes. Despite this, many people still voted on the designated day, either dropping off their absentee ballot in person or standing in line to do the in-person thing.
