This enlarged grid of two hundred images features the finished icons that McGinness created in response to objects in VMFA's collection. Each icon was made into a print screen -- or sometimes several of varying sizes. He then screen-printed and layered images to create the vibrant multipart painting that hangs behind this wall on the opposite side of the main entry concourse. |
