In this letter, Franklin writes to Rush, a fellow signer and Pennsylvanian, recommending a surgeon named Tessler "who proposed to go to America & offer his Services in the Armies." Franklin hopes that Tessler will be received with the "accustomed Curtisies to Strangers of Merit." |
