How do Americans React to War?
For more than two centuries, Americans have had a wide range of reactions to the wars their Army fights. With freedom of speech guaranteed, Americans have been able to express their feelings freely, whether for or against the war, through slogans, parades, rallies, posters, speeches, movies, signs, and even bumper stickers. While some conflicts have received widespread national support, every American war has experienced some level of opposition.
