Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park
* No actual statue or monument yet more of a designation in name ceremony -- a place to explore existing landscapes, waterways and trails.
* A newly constructed Visitor Center is the centerpiece of the Tubman experience within the monument, under the auspices of Maryland State Park Service and jointly managed in cooperation with the National Park Service. Permanent offices for the National Historical Park and headquarters of the Network to Freedom program.
* In addition, the Tubman story can be experienced through a driving tour of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway. |
