The Christmas Stories:
From 1850 onwards Dickens edited a new weekly magazine for readers of all ages and backgrounds, called Household Words. After he had ceased writing the series of Christmas Books in 1847, he decided to write much shorter Christmas Stories as part of the new magazine. Here is a collection of the Christmas Stories which appeared as special 'numbers' every December. |
