On March 24, 2022, March For Our Lives activists placed over 1,100 body bags on the Mall, representing more than 170,000 lives lost to guns since the Parkland shooting in 2018. The bags spelled out "Thoughts and Prayers" which was the only thing most politicians offer in response to gun violence. |
