Is this Building an Actual Barrack?
Yes, this restored building was half of a Recreational Hall which was used as social center for each block. Since all barracks were the same size (20' x 120') and constructed in the same manner, this barrack accurately represents the living quarters of internees. The partitioned area was built to house two or three people. |
