Pinball came to America from more than 1 location:
(1) France. (The nobleman, sailors & infantry) that came to fight in the American Revolution brought it with them. They left the bagatelle games in exchange for American goods & souvenirs.
(2) England. (Nine Pins came from England & stayed but later modified)
(3) Scandinavian immigrants also brought more refined forms of Bagatelle in the mid 1800s. |
