On June 21, 1951, President Gala Plazo of Ecuador addressed a joint session of the US Congress. The following year, Ecuador issued a stamp engraved from a photograph of the event, in which many US congressmen and congressional staff were visible. MacGregor identified all of them and obtained their autographs! |
