Over 100 years ago, the enormous project of building the great structure we know as Central Library was remarkably well documented by a very unusual series of detailed photographs. Over 300 of these pictures exist, showing almost every aspect of construction from 1908 to 1912, as well as documenting a long-lost world surrounding Central. Presented here is a selection showing some of the work and workers. |
