This collection of sculptures represents various experiments leading to Paglen's
Orbital Reflector project. Developed in collaboration with and co-produced by the Nevada Museum of Art, Orbital Reflector is a hundred-foot-long reflective satellite shaped like an elongated diamond. Scheduled to launch in fall 2018,
Orbital Reflector will be visible to the unaided eye in the night sky before harmlessly burning up in the Earth's atmosphere several months after launch. |
