Beyond Little Black Books:
The address book is not always the most logical way to store information. The organizational methods shown here range from makeshift to well-managed. Some of their approaches highlight the evolution of storage systems. Rotating file devices and floppy disks were once hallmarks of information management, but today they remind us of the speed of obsolescence. The little black books of the future will require new methods of preservation, but will also create new opportunities for research.
