The Good of the Hive
Artist Matthew Willey was inspired to paint honeybees after an encounter with one tiny bee in his studio in Manhattan. That experience sparked his ongoing project to hand paint 50,000 honeybees, representing the number in a healthy hive, in murals and installations around the world. |
