Leonso as a brand embodies conscious art. At the core of this fashion house, there are three creatives pioneering the brand, Kevin Salmeron, Desmond Thompson, and Festus Deigh, who believe meaningful art is often inspired by social issues and an openness to embrace and transform harsh truths. The name, Leonso, represents the fierceness needed to overturn adversity and make something from nothing.
Leonso serves as a platform for artists to collaborate with our team and to produce their own work. Our team believes in creating an atmosphere where uplifting the creatives they work with is the priority. Therefore, Leonso takes on the full cost of manufacturing, while providing artists with a percentage of every item they design, once it's sold.
It takes tremendous grit to find and stay in the creative vein, molding oneself into a true artist. Continuing to create something worthwhile takes the support and critical eye of like-minded artists. Being able to give back to artists in a meaningful way, and creating a means for them to grow their craft and broaden their reach means the world to everybody here at Leonso. |
