"As a marine officer in combat, young men were killed following my orders. Hundreds of sailors on one ship recently got the virus -- and their captain was fired for asking for help. Military life by nature is physically close and demanding. We will die in great numbers -- as we are called up to do any work that no one else can or will do. Members of the military are not disposable. Provide us with the protection we need. Do not ask us to make the lives of human beings in Venezuela, Iran, Iraq, Africa, etc. Even more miserable. We are one family." |
