First Officer Keyla Detmer's Command Uniform
This uniform was worn by First Officer Keyla Detmer (Emily Coutts) of the ISS Shenzhou. The gold-colored piping and hashed trim details on the chest armor signify Detmer's role as first officer aboard ISS Shenzhou and the sleeve armor is indicative of a senior officer. Pins denoting her rank and awarded medals are also visible on the armor. The leather armor was crafted from molded thermoplastic with a custom leather overlay, while the jumpsuit was created from hand dyed fabric by the Star Trek: Discovery wardrobe team under the direction of costume designer Gersha Phillips. |
