Michael Burnham's Terran Empire Captain Uniform
This two-piece Terran Empire Captain's uniform was worn by Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) aboard the I.S.S. Shenzhou. The gold piping and ornate gold chest and sleeve armor signify a senior officer in the Empire. The uniform jumpsuit is a custom dyed fabric and leather, and the body armor is thermoplastic with custom leather overlays. It was assembled by the Star Trek: Discovery costume department under the direction of costume designer Gersha Phillips. |
