The amazing artist Neal Adams passed on April 28, 2022. His first published work might have been in Playboy (1957) but he is most known his work in comic books. He worked with writer Dennis O'Neil to add relevance to Green Lantern/Green Arrow (1970), as the comic got around Comic Code restrictions to address problems with urban poverty and drug addiction. His Batman work was amazing and he co-created the Ra's al Ghul and Man-Bat characters for that title. He was a creators-rights advocate who helped secure a pension and recognition for Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. |
