On October 13, 1832, with its half-finished marble walls rising above the crowd, the Supreme Court Building was dedicated at a Cornerstone Laying Ceremony. Sponsored by the American Bar Association (ABA), the ceremony was attended by several thousand people, including President Herbert Hoover. |
