Wetland Plants

"The last word in ignorance is the man who says of an animal or plant: 'What good is it?'"
-- American wildlife conservationist, Aldo Leopold

Plants that have adapted to wetlands provide protection and food for small fish and aquatic organisms. Deer, waterfowl, and other aquatic animals such as beavers and otters are attracted to the marshes where these plants grow.
