Journalist Jim Lehrer, passed on January 23, 2020. He joined Robert MacNeil for the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour (1975-1995) and the PBS NewsHour (1995-2011). The last time I saw him was at a Library of Congress presentation on the history of PBS. The panel included Dick Cavett and as seen here, Cokie Roberts (who passed in September, 2019). |
