Angkor Wat was built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is the largest Hindu complex in the world. But in this vast jungle there are scores of temples, some of which are only now being liberated from the tangle of vine and undergrowth. The jungle here is both the preserver and destroyer of these incredible monuments.
