Lock of hair of Tadeusz Kosciuszko
Polish military officer Tadeusz Kosciuszko served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. A trained engineer, he assisted in fortifying West Point and was later appointed chief engineer. A close associate of Kosciuszko's presented the lock to the Historical Society in honor of the patriot. |
