Starting in the early spring 2018, Safway Services will be back on site to erect scaffolding to begin the process of repairs that will reopen the garth, a quiet and contemplative garden courtyard that has been off-limits since the 2011 earthquake.
With its signature fountain designed by George Tsutakawa, the garth provides a quiet retreat for meditation, reflection and relaxation. It is also the site for a planned eco-friendly memorial garden, a peaceful final resting place for Cathedral supporters, volunteers, congregation members and faithful friends. ... |
