I wasn't recognizing any of the speakers at the McPherson Square stage until they mentioned Christian Cooper. He was the birder who had the dog-walking Karen encounter in Central Park. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Cooper -- I had forgotten his comic book connections until I read the Wikipedia piece.) (He's the guy with the "51 for 51" shirt. |
