The Gaze at the Neighboring President

From President Eisenhower to Trump, we present a brief sample of how American presidents have been everyday characters in the life of Mexican journalism and cartoon.

We find here the pencils and brushes of great authors such as Antonio Arias Bernal, the first Mexican cartoonist to obtain the prestigious Maria Moors Cabot Award at Columbia University in 1952, and considered the World War II cartoonist due to his anti-fascist cartoons.

Rius, Rogelio Naranjo and Helio Flores are a trio of great artists, considered among the best cartoonists in the world, are also present in this section portraying the leaders of the United States.
