The Extraterrestrial Highway.
The dark night of a desert sky. The blinding flash of an overhead light. An unearthly noise hovers over your car as you look for an escape on the long, lonely road dubbed the The [sic] Extraterrestrial Highway. It could happen. Some even claim it has on this lonely 98-mile route linking one empty area of Nevada with another. The name comes from the high incidence of UFOs seen in the skies above. The road is also notable because of its proximity to the vast Nellis Air Force Base, which contains the Nevada Test Site. |
