Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign.
Created in 1959, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign has become the symbol of Las Vegas, appearing on t-shirts, post cards, calendars and advertisements seen around the world. The sign has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Betty Willis designed the Strip landmark. Tourists and locals alike line up to take the classic Vegas souvenir picture -- posing in front of this world famous sign that has come to symbolize the city it promotes. |
