Revolution Grrrl Style Now!
Riot Grrrl was born screaming in the 1990s. Loud, fast, and feminist, a new genre of women's music had emerged. Riot Grrrl was explicly and self-consciously dedicated to fostering equality not just in the music scene, but within communities. The Riot Grrrl Manifesto (See: What is Riot Grrrl?) reads, "... Because every time we pick up a pen, or an instrument, or get anything done, we are creating the revolution."
