Diane Giacalone Making Statement to Jury

U.S. Assistant District Attorney Diane F. Giacalone addressed the jury during the trial of John Gotti, then leader of the Gambino organized crime family, in the Brooklyn Federal Court as Judge Eugene Nickerson presided in March 1987. Immediately to the right of the judge are John Gotti, Anthony Rampino (a.k.a. Tony Roach), and defense attorney Barry Slotnick. Behind them are Gotti's defense attorney Bruce Cutler, informant Wilfred Johnson, and his lawyer, Richard A. Rehbock. This jury acquitted Gotti, but the "Dapper Don" ultimately went to prison.
